Fuquay-Varina what?

September 14, 2005 @ 7:03 pm

There’s a town in North Carolina called Fuquay-Varina. That made me google map it to see if it’s real. And for a while i thought it was made up, because Google maps didn’t find it. And then both MSN and Mapquest did, with no problem. I really don’t want to be a Google hater. I don’t…

But back to Fuquay-Varina: Today high-tech industries and innovative businesses balance the town’s economy, blending economic development and community preservation. I want to see this high-tech village that has no pictures on the city website. I want to see pictures. Why is Google Images conspiring against me too? Man, I need more coffee.

  2. Yes, it’s real; I am from said town. I am a graduate of Fuquay-Varina High School. There aren’t any pictures because there is NOTHING to take pictures of. We do have a pretty sweet Dairy Queen, though. I’ll send you some pics next time I visit home.
